Parkinson’s disease, often known as ‘Parkinson’s’, is a condition that affects the brain, causing symptoms such as shaking and stiffness of the limbs. Being a progressive disease, symptoms usually get worse over time eventually resulting in individuals having difficulty walking and talking. Whilst the cause of the disease is unknown, we can clarify the disease for you to ensure you are able to understand what it is and how to best support and care for individuals who have been diagnosed with it.
