Finding a training provider that delivers quality, flexibility, and value can be challenging. For Linah Marara, founder and director at Cardinal Care, that search ended when she discovered FuturU.

In this conversation, Linah shares why FuturU has become an indispensable asset to her growing business, how it compares to traditional training methods, and why she actively recommends it to her friends in healthcare.
How did you first find out about FuturU?
I joined Newcross Healthcare in 2023 as a member of staff, and did my training with FuturU. I really liked the courses – of all the training I’ve done in the past, FuturU’s is the most amazing.
And that’s why I chose FuturU as our training partner when we started Cardinal Care.
What do you like most about FuturU’s courses?
The FuturU training is so in-depth, especially in complex care – it’s just so detailed. I’ve never seen a training like it! Even though the training is online, it’s as good as someone doing one-to-one training with you in-person because it’s so detailed. If you’ve got a background in healthcare, you’ll know exactly what you need to do.
Do you use any other training providers aside from FuturU?
No, not really. Providers try to move me to their training, but I say that I won’t move, no matter what they offer me – I simply don’t need their training because FuturU covers everything I need.
Traditionally, you need people to come in, you need a venue, and it’s expensive. Online learning is much more friendly and flexible for our team. Our team can fit the training around their schedule, and get it done ahead of starting the work so they can hit the ground running.
And the admin platform is straightforward to use too. You can add staff and allocate training easily.
What sets FuturU apart from other providers?
Other organisations offer me training, but I say no because I can’t find anything that meets FuturU’s standard. FuturU is also very affordable compared to other providers.
The system is so easy to work with. And the fact that you’ve got someone there to support you is great. I use some other systems where I have to speak to a robot, but it’s important to be able to talk to a person too. I love that I can just jump on a quick call with Ant or Sam – it makes things so much easier.
How do you see FuturU supporting Cardinal Care as you grow?
We have six members of staff using the platform right now, but plan to add more soon as we recruit and build our client-base. Some other platforms lack flexibility – they have a minimum number of staff you can add, which wouldn’t work for us right now. But with FuturU, we can add more learners as we grow.
We’re still growing, but I’m going to grow with FuturU – I can’t imagine going anywhere else because FuturU’s training is the best training, and it’s everything I was looking for.
Would you recommend FuturU to other care organisations?
I’m actually trying to convince my friends to use FuturU! A lot of the older providers might have courses online, but they’re not as detailed as FuturU – so I tell my friends to try it!
