Get started with FuturU: Your guide to learning that fits around you

Whether you’re looking to build new skills, boost your confidence, or simply explore something new, FuturU makes learning easy, flexible and free. If you’re joining us for the first time, this guide will walk you through how to access FuturU, navigate the platform, and make the most of your learning experience.

What’s FuturU?

FuturU is a free learning platform designed to support everyone working in or around care. From bite-sized courses to advanced training, we offer high-quality, accessible learning that fits around your life. Whether you’re an unpaid carer, a healthcare professional, or just curious, there’s something here for you.

How to access FuturU

You can start learning with FuturU in three simple ways:


You can sign in using your email and password, or via your Google or Apple account. If you’re accessing our learning as part of an organisation, make sure to use your email and password to access courses assigned to you by your employer.

How to use FuturU

Once you’re in, here’s where everything lives:

Home screen:

  • See your enrolled and in-progress courses front and centre
  • Tap into any course to continue learning instantly.

My Learning:

  • Access all the learning you’ve enrolled in and completed yourself, as well as any courses assigned to you by your organisation
  • Toggle between Enrolled and Completed tabs
  • Click into a completed course to download your certificate or renew the course for a fresh completion date.

Courses:

  • Browse all available courses on the platform – new ones are added every month!
  • Swipe the top bar to explore by category
  • Click into a course to read the description and see a summary of modules
  • Choose ‘Start learning’ to begin right away, or ‘Save for later’ to return when you’re ready.


Courses range from quick refreshers to more in-depth modules. You can dip in and out whenever it suits you – on your commute, during a coffee break, or from the comfort of your sofa.

Settings:

  • Tap the person icon in the top right corner of the homepage to view Settings
  • You can update your name, password, date of birth, nationality and more here
  • Need help? You can contact support directly from this section too.

Frequently asked questions

Q: I’m trying to download my certificate and it’s asking for a password. Why?
A: Certificates are password-protected only when opened in edit mode. Try using Google Chrome to download and view them.

Q: I’m entering the correct password, but it says it’s incorrect.
A: If your password isn’t recognised, reset it https://futuru.ai/password-reset.

Q: My assigned courses by my organisation have disappeared. Where have they gone?
A: This can happen if you signed in with Google or Apple. Log in using your email and password to view organisation-assigned courses.

Q: How do I renew my course to get a new certificate and completion date?

A:

  1. Log into FuturU
  2. Click My Learning
  3. Go to the Completed tab
  4. Find the course and click on it
  5. Click Renew course
  6. Complete the course to receive a new certificate.
